Jimmy Walker
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTITIVE
Jimmy has worked for over 40 years in the Automotive Industry in a variety of positions including many years in management. He has been a very integral part of our team at Burdick Auto Solutions for over 18 years. Jimmy has numerous certifications and training including all technician areas, service manager, store manager, and advanced store manager training. He is passionate about making people's lives better by providing great auto repair service through his communication and customer service. He loves being a part of Burdick Auto Solutions because he feels they have an unequaled technician crew and experienced sales staff that strives to provide excellence in automotive service.
Jimmy spends most of his free time coaching local runners ages 8-18 in a local running club. He spent many years in the Boy Scout organization with his boys and loves nature, traveling, & camping. He is married to his wonderful wife, Michele who he says “has tolerated him for almost 38 years”. They have 4 children: Their oldest, Justin graduated from University of Arkansas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Trevor graduated with Honors from the University of Houston with a degree in Civil Engineering, Blair graduated with Honors with a degree in Computer Science from Trinity University, and Amanda will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May 2024. All of his children were active in Scouting, lettered in track and cross country, and excelled in academics here in McKinney and at their universities.
Jimmy is currently working towards retirement, but still enjoying working for Burdick Auto Solutions. After over 40 years in the industry, Jimmy is still passionate about working in the automotive business. He said, “People are extremely dependent on their vehicles. I feel like I am providing a very needed service to our community.” He is trying to find a balance between work and retirement as he transitions.
When asked what he feels makes Burdick Auto Solutions stand out from other repair shops, he says, “Earl does a great job of creating a business based on customer service excellence”.
His advice to the community, “When you feel something is off, get it checked to determine the severity of the problem.”
